Helping the Liberal DemocratsThere are a wide range of ways in which people who support our principles help us. (Take a look here if you missed the page which helps you to know what we stand for!). Some people give their support year round by becoming Members. We appreciate that, particularly as we have to work all 365 days a year, not just at elections! Simply becoming a Member in itself commits you to no more than a subscription, but we hold regular events where you can meet like minded people. There is likely to be a Branch in your area, and you will be very welcome at their meetings and events. Any Payment of £10 or more entitles you to membership of the Liberal Democrats. Concessionary Subscriptions of £6.00 are available to anyone who receives, or is entitled to receive, state benefits (other than state pension or child benefit); anyone who is a student in full-time education; or anyone under 26. Many members who can afford to give more donate a few pounds a month with a regular direct debit or standing order. If you are interested in becoming a Member please send your name address and telephone number to (Membership Secretary) or join online using the Liberal Democrats Join Us page. Some people do not become Members, but still give us their support by a regular donation. They know we aren't subsidised by trade unions and big business like Labour and the Conservatives, - one of the things our supporters value is our independence. So we need money from the grassroots. If you are interested in making a one-off or regular donation please send your name address and telephone number to the Treasurer by . Many people who don't support us financially give us valuable help in other ways. You could:
If you would like to help in any of these ways please send your name address and telephone number by or using our message form, and we will be in touch with you.
