Please note that information is given below is for the new constituency that came into place from the General Election 2010, and for the previous constituency.  There are significant boundary changes that come into effect at the general election in 2010. These changes excluded the town of Okehampton and the surrounding rural area (moved to the new Central Devon constituency) and included Buckland Monachorum (transferred from South Hams).  See Constituency Wards for more details.

Constituency Boundary

Cornwall and DevonTorridge and West Devon is one of the largest predominantly rural constituencies in England. It includes the District of Torridge, most of the Borough of West Devon, and the Island of Lundy.  The main towns within the constituency are Bideford and Tavistock.  Most of Dartmoor National Park is within the constituency.

Previous Constituency Boundary

(Effective prior to the General Election in 2010)
